  • Teaches vocabulary based on letters, commonly used English language phrases for more advanced learners

  • YouTube channel that students can subscribe
  • It has "repeat-after-me" videos for students to learn new vocabulary based around themes such as: "L" Sounds, linking sounds, etc

  • Works on verbs, tenses, articles, vocabulary, reading, grammar rules, adjectives

  • Has tons of quizzes for all levels. A good tool for after they learn vocab/grammar and are in the process of reviewing it
  • Also great because it has quizzes in different languages like Mandarin where it will show the Mandarin word and ask for the English translation

  • Supplies needed: iPad or computer to access website, or print off conversation topics
  • This website has a huge number of questions you could ask students on different topics to get them speaking
  • You could put them in a group and have them ask each other
  • A range of levels, ELL benchmark 2-5
  • Works on idioms, prepositions, articles, grammar rules
  • Supplies needed: technology to access YouTube lessons

  • Works on spelling, vocabulary
  • Supplies needed: headphones, technology to access website
  • Good for practicing spelling and vocabulary through games/activities to help with editing writing
  • All games can be done independently, but students will need to be at least mid-LP 2 to understand the instructions

  • Teaches phonics, alphabet
  • Supplies needed: headphones, login code and password (set up by teacher), iPad or computer, open in chrome as this runs on flash
  • This is a phonics game where kids learn new sounds and go through different games as they are learning
